What do overnight Stays include?
Overnight Stays are approximately 12 hours. They include feeding animals breakfast and dinner and of course letting dogs out as needed. If we’re taking care of horses it includes feeding breakfast and dinner, turning horses out and bringing in, cleaning stalls once a day and a “bedtime” check to make sure they have plenty of water and hay for the night
Why is it extra for visits during the day when you’re staying overnight?
We must schedule the visits and allow enough time for them and make sure that we have someone available
Why do I have to fill out the Veterinary Consent form?
While we don’t anticipate anything happening we want to be prepared. The consent form tells us what we are able to do if we can’t reach you in an emergency situation. It gives us permission to start having your pet treated per instructions until we can reach you if we need to. It also eliminates some questions and ultimately delays if the vet knows we have permission for treatment
Do you use my vet?
Yes! We have working relationships with area vets and will use your vet of choice. Your vet knows your animals and it will be less stressful for them than someone they don’t know.
Do you administer medications?
If you’re pet requires daily medication or supplements we will give them to your pet. However if medications aren’t clearly labeled or we do not have instructions for the medication they will not be given. We suggest using labeled pill containers or labeled baggies for each pet. Labels should include the following: Pet’s name, Am/PM, and the medication names. In the event that something happens requiring medication, then will be given per vet instruction
Why don’t I get a refund or still have to pay in full if I cancel less than 72 hours before services start?
We do not offer refunds on services canceled at the last minute. Time and resources have been set aside to take care of your animals, and we have turned others away because those dates/times were reserved by you.
